Student Elisabeth Parker is spearheading a coat and outerwear collection drive to benefit the Durham Rescue Mission. Please take a moment to clean out a closet or drawer and drop your donations in the box in the Big Hall. Collection will continue until January 8.
The basketball team has three games this week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Monday is away and Wednesday and Friday are home games at 4 PM AT Lyon Park. Practice on Tuesday is at Yates – no practice on Thursday. Team members will receive a separate email with details (time and driving arrangements) for the Monday game.
Middle Grades students will take their semester exams next week. Following in their exam schedule:
Monday, December 14 - English and spelling
Tuesday, December 15 - vocabulary and social studies
Wednesday, December 16 - math and Spanish with Ms. Celia (MTuW) class
Thursday, December 17 - science and Spanish with Ms. Celia (ThF) class
(Students who are taking Spanish with Mr. Brit will not be sitting a Spanish exam for the semester.) Students will be given review sheets this Tuesday and spend this week reviewing and preparing.
Upper School students will take exams in January. They will receive review sheets before break and return in January to two review days and three exam days. Details will be sent home.
