Weekly Update 12/13/09

Greetings!

As we enter our last week of school for 2009 there is much to celebrate while we also tend to many details to wrap things up well.

Congratulations to our Basketball Knights who won both games last week!

Details.....

First, a
parking lot reminder….please PULL INTO A SPACE if you are going to get out of your car – even if it is just to wait under the carport - if you leave your car in the line folks behind you who are ready to exit are forced to maneuver in a dangerous manner. Thanks, in advance, for working together on this.

Second, all
Middle Grades and Upper School students have received exam review sheets FOR EACH SUBJECT AREA. Please help your student create a good study plan based on the information included in these sheets which include both topics and item types that will be found on the exams. Middle Grades students take exams this week that count as 15% of their semester grade in each class. Upper School students take exams when we return that count 20% of their semester grade.

Third, this final school week of the year brings us one of our most cherished Camelot traditions-
Holidays Around the World presentations in Morning Meeting. Thank you, in advance, to parents Shannon Talton, Kimberly Holt, Ingrid Byker, Xueyun Shi and Carol Reiter for sharing their time and traditions with us. An important reminder to all...PLEASE MAKE AN EXTRA EFFORT TO ARRIVE ON TIME THIS WEEK so that your student can experience these presentations and so that his/her arrival does not cause an interruption to the experience of others.
