The upcoming week is short on class days (just Monday and Tuesday) but big on agenda as we look forward to three days of Family Conferences (Wednesday-Friday). Please remember that all Middle and Upper School students are expected to attend their conference. Our conference topics will include a review of First Semester accomplishment and a preview of Second Semester goals. The meetings for high school students will also include an overview of the path to college. In order to get the most out of this team meeting, please take a few minutes to gather your thoughts and questions on these topics prior to coming to your meeting. Also, please arrive a few minutes early as we are booked solid all three days and need to keep on schedule. If you have questions about your conference appointment, please contactMs. Lynne (lynne@camelotacademy.org).
Due to the short week of classes, there are no club meetings this Monday and Tuesday. The regular club schedule will begin the week ofFebruary 17.
We are getting excited about the upcoming Pie Supper and Academic Fair to be held at the Durham Armory. This is a whole school event - and a great one! We look forward to enjoying an evening of great food while socializing and supporting the academic pursuits of our students. Earlier this week you received an email with details including a place to RSVP AND a place to sign up for the dish you'll bring to share.

On Thursday, March 6, Camelot Upper School students have been invited to help with the Urban Ministries of Durham's Empty Bowls fundraiser at the Convention Center (where we had Academic Fair). We need 10th-12th graders to sign up to work from 5-6:30pm or 6:30-8pm (or both). These students will bus tables, help people get soup, and generally keep this community event running smoothly. This event raises
significant funds to support Urban Ministries' homeless shelter. Camelot students represented the school well last year and we are looking to do so again! Any service hours earned can go towards the Community Service Hours Challenge presented by National Honor Society. Please sign up this week on the bulletin board upstairs or by emailing amy@camelotacademy.org.
I look forward to seeing you during conferences!
