Greetings!
Thank you to everyone for a very productive round of family conferences. Special thanks to our wonderful teacherswho communicated, planned and problem-solved from 7:30 AM Monday through to 5:30 PM Friday like the amazing team of dedicated professionals that they are. Also, special thanks to the parents who hosted our students in job shadow experiences this week.
We embark on a busy time period now….the “heart” of the semester and the march towards our big Academic Fair event on November 18.
Clubs start this week with everything slated to run except anthropology and spinning/knitting which did not have enough enrollment. Dance club folks please stay tuned for our start date.
On Wednesday a rep from Earlham College will visit with our students at noon. Several Camelot grads have gone on to graduate from Earlham and have had great things to report. Check it out!
On Saturday, October 15, all of our 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT on our campus. All test takers must arrive by 8:45 AM. Pick up at 12:30 for standard administration, extended time testers can call home when finished. Also on Saturday we have ourfirst Open House of the year for prospective families. Please tell your friends to stop by between 1 and 3 PM.
Thanks to Mr Dan for updating the searchable AR database on our website. We have added over 150 titles bringing our total collection to 1600 tests.
IPAD App of the week….Dragon Dictation – a free app that does a good job of turning your speech to text. A great way to get ideas flowing on the next paper or essay that is assigned.
