Thank you to parent Lisa Farling for the great job on our porch flower
makeover – we now look ready for fall and not a minute too soon – we
have a big open house this afternoon. Please remember to send your
friends over between 2PM and 4PM this afternoon.
Check out the pictures of the Lower School farm trip on our website.
Miss Paige outdid herself in capturing the fun had by all.
Speaking of Lower School – they are collecting specific food items for
the Backpack Buddies Program. Collection bins are in the Big Hall.
Please send what you can soon. See Miss Denise for details.
Parent Service Jobs:
- Leaf raking is ongoing. Please contact Mike directly at
Mike@camelotacademy.org .
- We need a parent to video tape the boys basketball games.
You should have received two large envelopes in the mail from the
school last week. Please note the following:
Mid-Semester Warnings need to be signed and returned
The orange Thanksgiving Feast RSVP is DUE FROM EVERY FAMILY TOMORROW
(Monday). Extra copies and all of the details can be found on our
website under “Events.” Please remember that the Academic Fair held
that day is a required parent event. You will not want to miss the
hard work and creativity of all of our students that will be on display
that day and it is a special tradition of Camelot that our entire
school family sits down to Thanksgiving dinner together.
The athletic teams are hosting a 5 K race at Forest Hills Park on
Saturday, November 14 at 10 AM. Please support our teams by sponsoring
a runner/walker or by walking or running yourself. Registration forms
and details can be found on our website under “Events.”
You can also support our teams by sending your student to school with
some change for the bake sale. A few of our students have spent the
weekend hard at work in their kitchens ready to provide goodies for the
masses this week. All proceeds will benefit the Athletic Department.
The Soccer Awards Ceremony will be immediately following the 5 K race –
at noon. Soccer players will receive more details this week.
Girls’ basketball remains under consideration. Krista and I will meet
again this week to see if we can work out the remaining logistics and
we’ll keep you posted.
