Weekly Update 11/29/08

Greetings! I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving. I’m sending this Update one day early for the benefit of Middle Grades parents who will be leaving tomorrow on the Sound to Sea trip.

First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone for the great turnout for the
Academic Fair and the Thanksgiving Feast. Also, a shout out to parents Paul Kartcheske and Nancy HIllsman who once again worked with Wendy Morris to serve a great meal for two hundred. Last Saturday the Herald Sun ran an article on the event - stay tuned to our website for a link to the article that will be posted very soon.

CONGRATS to the basketball Knights for their win at the Thursday, November 20 game. The season continues with a home game on Monday and the first away game on Friday. Coach Greg and Coach Dan are strongly encouraging all of us to turn out for the home games to give our team the psychological advantage they need and deserve!

REMINDER:
All Second Semester Paperwork is due MONDAY! Any items not turned in by that time will be subject to the appropriate late fee.

UPPER SCHOOL students have an AR requirement to be met by Monday at 3:30 PM. AP English students are to have completed the assigned book by class time on Monday.

MUSIC PERFORMANCE STUDENTS are invited to perform on Saturday, December 20 at 2 PM at Northgate Mall. Glenn needs to hear from all of the parents ASAP to let him know who can and cannot attend. You can email Glenn directly at: glenn@pizzadreams.com.

Thanks. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you on Monday!

Best,

Thelma
