Please pay careful attention to the packing lists for each of these trips!
I will be in regular contact with teachers on both trips and will inform you, if needed, of any changes to the itinerary.
Other Calendar Reminders:
Friday, April 25 - final due date for Upper School AR books
Friday, May 2 - Evening of the Arts. All students and their parents are expected to attend. Students in Grades K-8 plus those in Jazz Band, Rock Band and Dance Club will be performing.
On a personal note...thanks to everyone for the good wishes and support for my daughter, Rita, and I on our college trip last week. As you know, Rita is a junior at our school and she applied to one college - Drew University - for early entry. Although she was awarded almost $100,000 in merit and theatre scholarships (not included in the senior figures listed above) she has made a decision to stay part of Camelot’s Class of ‘09 and to take classes both on our campus and at UNC while preparing for professional and conservatory auditions in January. We greatly appreciate the kind words and support of everyone as we worked through her options.
Best,
Thelma
