Thank you to everyone for the great turnout at the Evening of the Arts. Again, a special thanks to teachers Glenn Mehrbach, Susie Kless, Heather Cramer, Paige Passavant and Dan Hill for their work with the students that made for such a nice evening.
Speaking of thanks to teachers....this week is Teacher Appreciation Week. If time permits, drop a note to a teacher who means the world to you - such gestures are always deeply appreciated.
Note from Wendy about trial of new lunch program....
Camelot Academy will be participating in a Test Pilot Lunch Program with Healthelunchkids.com 2 days a week, for two weeks - Tuesdays and Wednesdays only - beginning May 13th.
The two greatest points of the program: 1. Healthier lunches - low in fat and sodium AND 2. families place their orders online and can order up to a month at a time and as late as 48 hrs before the day you want lunch delivered!
For the test program, you will still receive an actual order form to fill out. If we can approve their lunch program and it is well received - then the school will be added to the Health elunch kids program for the fall and parents will place all orders online starting in the fall semester. Please look for the healthelunchkids flyer and order form that will be sent home with the regular lunch order forms on Wednesday. If you need an email version of the order form, just contact Wendy and she can send it to you.
Parent Service help is still needed for the Spring Festival on May 23 (9 AM - noon) and for graduation on May 31 (8 AM-1:30 PM. Please contact Wendy if you are interested in either opportunity.
